Further HART publications are forthcoming on a regular basis, and this week is no exception. The most recent publication to be released is in the International Journal of Aquatic Research and Education. The paper, written by Adam Evans with co-author Mike Sleap (University of Hull) outlines the key findings of ‘Swim for Health,’ a Department of Health funded project, delivered by the Amateur Swimming Association and partners in the East of England. Many outcomes are discussed in the paper that have implications for similar community-based, regional interventions in aquatic activity. The impact on participation rates and service utilisation of this programme is outlined, whilst shared learning outcomes are related to future development.
