Lincoln Food Partnership

HART’s Professor Nigel Curry, who is also Chair of the Lincoln Food Partnership Board, spent a stimulating hour talking with Amy Claridge on the Radio Lincolnshire, Amy’s Lincolnshire Kitchen programme on 27 February. Discussion ranged widely over global food issues vis-à-vis climate change, food waste and food poverty. The work of the Food Partnership also was described, with illustrations from a number of City projects including Green Synergy, Mint Lane Café, and Washingborough Academy. A range of national examples of best practice in local food projects also raised some excitement as opportunities that might also be developed in Lincoln.
