This December the HART research team welcomes three new postgraduates to it’s research community. Alex Pickerden, a former University of Lincoln student, will complete a study toward a Masters by Research in which he will investigate the impact of academies on the delivery of Physical Education. Alex will be supervised by David Piggott and Donna Evans. Another former University of Lincoln undergraduate, Daniel Connolly, also joins us on the Masters by Research programme and will investigate cultural influences on students’ career aspirations during Further Education. Last but not least, the team welcomes Stacey Mitchell from Leeds Metropolitan University, who joins us looking to complete a PhD studying gender inequality in golf from an ethnographic and autoethnographic perspective. Both Daniel and Stacey will be supervised by Jaquelyn Allen-Collinson and Adam Evans.
We wish all three the best of luck in their studies!
