Public Health England Conference

HannahHART members, Hannah Henderson and Geoff Middleton, recently presented posters at the annual Public Health England Conference at the University of Warwick. This large-scale conference is nationally recognised as PHE’s main event for academics, practitioners and policy makers to meet and integrate discussions of topical issues in the field. Hannah presented her work on the relationship of attendance and completion rates with patient BMI in Exercise Referral Schemes. Geoff illustrated the early stages of the HART team’s qualitative research project on the contemporary issues faced by Health Trainers in the Health Trainer Service.  An article on the role of Health Trainers by Rachel Williams et al. was published in the University Journal of Public Health, and can be found here.
