Dual Studentship with Southern Cross University

Together with Southern Cross University, the School of Sport & Exercise Science at Lincoln is currently advertising a fully-funded dual PhD scholarship in sport and exercise psychology. We are looking for an outstanding and highly motivated individual to build on a very productive research collaboration between the partnering universities. This scholarship represents an opportunity to complete a PhD and conduct sport and exercise psychology research in both Australia and the UK. The first 18 months will be spent at Southern Cross University in Australia, and the remaining 18 months will be spent at University of Lincoln.

The project will relate to performance, enjoyment (e.g., flow), and/or mental health in sport and exercise. There is scope for the project to be shaped by the successful applicant, and qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method approaches will be suitable. There may be an expectation to contribute to teaching in relevant topics as part of this scholarship, in line with each University’s normal procedure within PhD scholarships.
