Welcome to new PhD student – Georgia Clay

We are delighted to welcome Georgia Clay as a new doctoral student researching with HART. Georgia currently works as an Associate Lecturer in the School of Sport and Exercise Science, and has just commenced a dual studentship funded by the University of Copenhagen and the University of Lincoln. Georgia’s PhD focuses on the ‘Sociology of ageing, exercise and stroke rehabilitation’, and is supervised by Dr Hannah Henderson, and Professor Jacquelyn Allen-Collinson (Lincoln) and Dr Adam Evans (Copenhagen). Her previous work has included research on physical and psychological wellbeing, behaviour and interventions in a health and exercise setting. A very warm welcome to Georgia!
