Accolades for HART associate

CURRY photoHART Associate, Professor Nigel Curry, has won accolades for two recent papers on the relationship between food, health and community. “The role of tacit knowledge in developing networks for sustainable agriculture” (with J Kirwan), was shortlisted for the Sociologia Ruralis Best Paper 2013/2014, and concerns the way in which learning about the relationship between food and health is commonly conveyed implicitly rather than formally. “Learning in the Permaculture Community of Practice in England” with Julie Ingram et al. was named by the Journal of Agricultural Education and Extension as best article of the year for 2014.
