Many congratulations to HART associate member, Dr Zainab Yusuf, who recently successfully passed her doctoral viva voce examination. Zainab completed her PhD on the experiences of asthma in sport and/or exercise in the UK-resident South Asian population, which was supervised by Dr Diane Wensley (De Montfort University), Prof Jacquelyn Allen-Collinson (University of Lincoln), and Dr Helen Owton (The Open University). Zainab is currently a research associate for the global RECHARGE project, funded by NIHR, and run in collaboration with the University of Leicester. This research explores the effects of pulmonary rehabilitation on patients with chronic lung disease in low and middle-income countries. Congratulations Dr Yusuf – from all in HART!
