New Associate Members join HART

This month saw two new associate members join the HART team.

Dr. Arianna Radin is an Italian sociologist working at the University of Turin, Italy. She works within the fields of the sociology of professions, sociology of health, and visual sociology, and her primary research interests are in childhood obesity, health promotion and e-health.  Arianna visited HART in autumn 2014 and was involved in the research project on Health Trainers’ Occupational Roles, with Mr Geoff Middleton and Dr Jacquelyn Allen-Collinson.

Second, we welcome Dr. Phillipa Caudwell. Phillipa is currently a Medical Science Manager in the field of diabetes treatment with Astra Zeneca, and is also an Honorary Research Fellow at the Human Appetite Research Unit (HARU) at the University of Leeds. Dr. Caudwell has published widely, with more than 30 papers and over 600 citations in the field of Exercise Physiology. She has also worked on multiple research grants totalling over £3 Million focusing upon appetite response to exercise.
